The Wilks Genuine USA TX625 Petrol Pressure Washer is the entry level offering in the Wilks range of petrol pressure washers. You may also see it referred to as the TX625i Wilks USA model, but is actually one in the same. It offers superb power and features at such a low price which is great news those on a budget but with some pretty serious cleaning requirements.
If you need a lot of cleaning power and a portable jet washer then read on as this gives tons of flexibility for most jobs. There are more powerful petrol jet washers on the market but they start to get heavier and less portable.

Cleaning Features
The TX625 pressure output is impressive for under £300. it will run happily with a continuous pressure of 3000PSI moving up to a huge 3950 PSI for maximum pressure bursts. The water can be tank fed (if the water flow pressure is enough to feed the pump) or tap fed meaning it can be used anywhere.
The flow rate is 12 litres per minute which will rinse big areas and give great cleaning power. Combined with a maximum water temperature of 40 degrees the TX625 will clean most things pretty effectively.
Motor and Pump
The 8hp unleaded petrol engine gives more than enough power to make this suitable for everyday use. Commercial cleaners should be fine with this (beware of the warranty). As well as pushing out plenty of power Wilks boast that the motor is quiet which is quite important is you are using it in residential areas for long periods.
Warranty
The Wilks TX625 comes with a 12 months warranty which we think could be better. Also bare in mind that this is a domestic use warranty. If you are a commercial user it is worth looking at getting your own cover in place. Even though this model is perfectly capable of carrying out some commercial jobs you don’t want to invalidate the warranty.
Manoeuvrable
Combining power and manoeuvrability is very important and this model covers those needs. It is not as light as a cheap electric pressure washer but is far lighter than the TX 650 which weighs 40kg in at or the TX850 which weighs in at 72kg. Storing this model is going to be pretty easy and lifting it up and down onto vehicles or over walls for jobs will be nice and easy. Very well suited if you are looking to clean your roof or need to lift into a lorry.
This model does have 2 pneumatic tyres so will also be pretty easy to drag around bumpy ground and move from job to job. The frame is robust and will give good balance when you are moving the TX625.
What The Customers Think
Generally the Wilks TX625 customer reviews are pretty good. From reading around there are a few common points. Over all Amazon customers have given a 4 out of 5 review score, so pretty good.
The most common point is that people are very pleased with the performance of this model especially at this price point.
A few people have mentioned pretty vague instructions but they have also mentioned that when they contacted the customer services they were very happy with the service they received.
There have been a couple of mentions about poor build quality. If you order one give it a thorough check over after the first few uses to make sure all is OK.

Our Final Thoughts
This really is a great value pressure washer, the TX625 combines high power suited to everyday use with a low price. Some of the features like pneumatic tyres make it a lot easier to use.
The flexibility and manoeuvrability of this model mean it will be more than adequate for most jobs. Boat and fleet vehicle owners will be able to get into awkward corners and work in places away from mains electric and water.
The only real down side we can see is the one year warranty. If you’re after piece of mind over price then look at other models or maybe purchase your own extended warranty cover. The TX625 comes highly recommended by us.
